Jakes Peak with Jeff and Everett

This picture was taken by Jim Kaspari as he drove UP to Donner Summit this morning. We were driving DOWN to Lake Tahoe for our tour on Jake's Peak at the same time, so I included this photo from the Rainbow Bridge in this day's collection.

Fantastic cold snow conditions the day after the storm. Steep up track as usual at Jake's Peak (west shore of Lake Tahoe). We skied down the south-east slope from summit to highway, with no flat spots even though we got a bit tangled up in the willows at the very end.
