Desert Flower Blooming

Here is one of Diane's favorites. All around was hot dry red dirt and sand, with a howling wind blowing. Behind this one rock, these delicate blossoms were flashing to us saying - look, look, LOOK!

Stunning! The petals are so delicate, so fragile, and the dead twigs and lifeless red sand in the background only serve to accent these little celebrations of life and beauty!

I can see why Diane loves this shot so much!
